Episode 29: The Pre-Blizzcon Show

“This is the Pre-Blizzcon Show – and we will talk about a lot of stuff we know nothing about yet; including hopes and predictions.”

Hearthstone

Blizzard have been busy banning accounts the past few weeks. People who have been botting or win trading have been banned and Blizzard have thereby promoted fair play and no cheating in Hearthstone.

There’s some speculations to what the new Hearthstone expansion will contain and the recent trademarking of Eye of Azshara has been stirring up some more speculations.

World of Warcraft

Together with the launch of the oceanic World of Warcraft servers there also was an Q&A which brought up topics as new blood elf models, server delay and the future of dungeons.

General Blizzard

Geoff Kneighley, the host of the Blizzcon live stream, has been teasing us saying we should look forward to the opening ceremony for Blizzcon. Personally I’m hoping for an announcement of Overwatch, whatever that might be.

Last Orders

Blizzard have promoted the Podcast(ish) youtube channel about the Nerdlords of Draenor. I found it really entertaining and cool with a new take on how you can do a podcast. They play through the WoD dungeons/starting zone so beware of spoilers!

Episode 28: G’Day Mate!

“Grab your surfboard because WoW is going down under. Metallica will be thrashing Blizzcon but not before a mystery is solved.”

General Blizzard

It’s the mighty Metallica who is playing at the closing ceremony at Blizzcon. Remember even if you don’t have tickets for the real thing you can still watch it with the virtual ticket. I’m wondering if they will be playing St. ‘Sha’ of Anger.

Others have noticed the same thing as I did last week with the missing panels at Blizzcon. They even noticed missing details in the floor planning.

Hearthstone

If you are the owner of an Android phone or tablet then you might be missing out on Hearthstone. Blizzard will change that come 2015 when the game will be out for the Android platform.

World of Warcraft

You will now be able to hunt crocodiles from your home computer if you are from Australia or New Zealand. Blizzard are setting up servers in Australia which should give a smoother game play for those affected.

In a recent interview with Ion Hazzikostas he said that unless something significantly changes there should be 10 more years of World of Warcraft.

If you like the rest of us have experienced any connectivity issues with the latest patch then there’s good news. These issues should be solved now. If you still are having issues you should contact the Blizzard support team so they can get it fixed.

A new patch will be added tomorrow to prepare for the launch of Warlords of Draenor. Hopefully it wont break as much as the 6.0.2 did.
